You know, nowadays that furry whatever it is he’s wearing would be considered totally hip in the dolly-kei style.  He was sort of way ahead of the times.

Regardless of that, I’m glad he outgrew his blonde wannabe viking period haha :)

Remember when I said I was drawing a portrait of J in college from this photo?

Well obviously I did just that :) And my scanner still won’t make friends with graphite pencil, oh well, c’est la vie I suppose.

Another J photo I still had on my computer. I tend to build up quite the amount of photos when I’m looking for those to draw portraits from.  And now I’ve got the bass magazine book about him so you can all expect tons of scans the coming weeks.

A while ago my husband and I agreed that it is just impossible to look good, let alone awesome, in white geek glasses.  We had never seen anyone pull them off.  And then I saw this.  And it _figures_ that the one person that rocks them is J.

I have to wonder, does he have to put in any effort to be this cool or does it just come naturally?  I hope he never changes, that’s for sure :)

I totally wish I could embed this AWESOME accoustic version of Burn Out by J.

And this other one of GO with the Devil and then White (the last song starts a little slow, but seriously be patient and wait for it to start, it’s worth it).

But the site won’t let me so yeah, therefore I’m doing it this way.

Nevertheless you should all see and especially HEAR this, he’s actually SINGING and omg this is just awesome (ok he’s really good at his usual shoutyness too but I really did his singing). I need this DVD in my life (not that it’s easy to find but hey).
